I've tried without success to recover deleted files from SSD and I've used all sorts of methods. I like to know that when files are deleted that they are unrecoverable.

Anyway check if Trim is enabled. If it is then the only way to get your files in from your backup that you made with Aomei Backupper. You just mount the backup and browse the image.

If you didn't backup then forget it.

I did a huge mistake. I wanted to make a bootable flash drive and I reformatted the wrong drive. I wiped my external hard drive instead. Found this MiniTool Data Recovery Software – Power Data Recovery & Mac Data Recovery. and it was able to find all files I lost from reformat. I had to use paid version as the free version only allowed limited restore. Have to install app to drive you "ARE NOT" trying to recover from.

I just lost a file again, and i have tried all the programs mentioned in this thread. Some of them are seriously confusing, and some of them found thousands of files, without some proper descriptions of the files they found, but not the file i wanted. Also, the only program i found user friendly is recuva, but it barely finds anything. Puran seems to be okay as well.

So a few days ago i accidentally deleted a label for a package.
What does that mean? Is it a file, a folder, a container such as a zip? Where did you delete it from?

    How did you delete it?

It was a pdf file again, it wasn't a folder or anything.

I just tried it, but it didn't find much, just like most of the programs mentioned in this thread.
