    As a postcript, I've just discovered that MiniTools have repackaged Microsoft's Windows Movie Maker from Essentials 2012 into an installer that just installs Movie Maker (and the Photo Gallery that it requires). The rest of Essentials has been removed. As far as I can tell, Movie Maker has not been modified in any way, just the installer.
