Yes, hit 'Quote' then delete the parts you don't need.

Just signed out of Onedrive and tested link on Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Pale Moon browsers. Download auto-started and finished on all.

Don't know what the OP's problem was, I downloaded it OK (in IE). It's identical to my saved copy, and to the one from the Wayback Machine that the OP has now got. So, all's well that ends well :)

Thanks, Bree. At the time I wrote my post, I'd wondered idly if the Wayback Machine might not offer an escape clause. I should've turned my idle speculation into the same search that you did so well, because I use it all the time in my work as an expert legal witness. It's amazing what you can find in the Wayback Machine, in fact, if you know how to look. Great job!

Should still install okay provided you've got .NET Framework 3.5 enabled...

Yes, the Wayback Machine doesn't just archive web pages, it often archives the downloads too. It's always worth a look if you have the address of a MS download page that has been removed.

    Recent case in point:

I installed Office 2000 on an old machine and wanted to apply its SP3 (still available from Microsoft). A prerequisite for O2K SP3 is Service Release 1, but this is no longer available from Microsoft.

Googling for old threads linking to the O2KSR1a download page found the required url, the Wayback Machine provided the download.

    Movie Maker in Win 10

    It was working under 14393.0.

Windows Movie Maker Free Download - For Windows 7/8/10/Xp/Vista

Still working with 16299.248. Last update is 2017. Windows Live Essentials is 2012.

Give it a try, works fine here.

That link is not Microsoft's Windows Movie Maker, it is a 'lookalike' called 'Windows Movie Maker 2016' and has nothing to do with Microsoft. I believe 'Windows Movie Maker 2016' includes in-app purchases to unlock some features.

The given links comes with a MS link.

The Win 10 executable file (2017) comes with the following:

    - MS SQL Server 2005
    - Win Live Essentials 2012
    - Movie Maker
    - MS Visual C++ 2012
