Think I will just stick with Libre Office. Seems to be working for me. Appreciate your time and effortds.
Probably a wise choice. Cleaning malware can be problematic, a clean start is often the only way to be sure it has gone.

Now you have a working system, look into making a system image to an external HDD. A future problem could be resolved by restoring a known clean system image. Macrium Reflect (free) is recommended by many here.

Ditto on LibreOffice, I put it on all computers that need the functions. Only thing it doesn't have is a comparable E-Mail Client such as Microsoft Outlook but there's free ones available such as Thunderbird.

If you truly had Office 10 it's old, otherwise known as Office XP/2002. Up until Office 2016 the versions of the programs in the suite had different numbers, Office 2016 and Version 16 are the first to use the same number.

Already done. Installed Macrium Reflect. Now all I have to do is figure out all the ins and outs of both Libre Office and MAcrium Reflect. I really appreciate all you have done for me. Now I guess I have a lot to learn!
