IObit Uninstaller 7 Free vs. Revo Uninstaller Free?

I have used Revo Pro for years on a windows 7 machine with great success. Never experienced any problems letting it delete everything associated with the program including reg. entries and even when it said removing somethings might be linked to other "things." Never tried Revo free. Anyone have an opinion on IObit Uninstaller 7 Free vs. Revo Uninstaller Free? TIA.

Revo is definitely the way to go. IObit will nag you to add all their other programs and does nothing different.

I wouldn't touch anything from IOBit. There is evidence the company has engaged in unethical business practices and many people have reported problems with the software. Maybe these issues have been satisfactorily dealt with, or maybe not.

Have you tried and use Revo Uninstaller Free or just the Pro version?

Lets simplify things, If I had a choice between using an Iobit Product and nothing, I would use nothing

I use Revo Pro 3.2.0 portable so I can put on stick and use on multiple computers that I support. I just cleaned a system with several iObit tools installed and multiple startup and restore issues until I deleted them all and showed them how to use built-in Windows tools only. No issues since.

I don't install either, extra bloat, and danger, have had problems with Revo requiring Windows having to be re-installed to reinstate links/references.
Compelling reasons not to install either.
