Please help me remove a leftover of an uninstalled app

Please help me remove this leftover "item/registry junk" or whatever it is, from the "How do you want to open this file?" apps list. I uninstalled that software, but it is still in the list for opening my BDMV, M2TS, MPLS files. The wierd "leftover" just shows a location of an already uninstalled video player. I have marked the wierd phenomenon.

    Thank you.
(I apologize, but I really dont know how else to explain. On another forum people had "problems" understanding longer sentences...I hope that will not be the case here too.)

You want to delete this lot in the registry using regedit:
    Code:
    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.xxxxx]

    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.xxxxx]

    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.xxxxx]

    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Roaming\OpenWith\FileExts\.xxxxx]
Changing xxxxx for the file types (like BDMV, M2TS, MPLS) you are interested in.

Ask in this thread if I'm not clear as it covers removing default associations: Restore Default File Type Associations in Windows 10 - Page 25 - Customization Tutorials

Thank you so much! While I was searching the registry for the items you listed, I actually found the culprit!
There is a ton of "mpc-be.xxxx" items that are from the old Kawaii Codec Pack Black, in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\

Oww lol! I just needed to reinstall Kawaii Codec Pack Black (KCP) and uncheck all file associations in its MPC-BE. I did that and it was gone, I didnt have to edit the registry.
