At least once a day I get the pic below requesting a sticky note update. I click 'ok' and nothing happens. This has been going on for a while. I find SN really handy and have it permanently open on the desktop - I'd like to either update the thing or turn off the nag.
Turned out that in my keenness to turn off telemetry etc with Shut Up Ten, I'd inadvertently disabled 'update apps'. I put that item back to default 'on' and when today's SN update nag appeared, I clicked OK and Sticky Notes closed and re-opened, so it seems fixed.
Good you found it. The fear of so-called 'telemetry' has led people to do things with unexpected consequences.
