    PDF Default App Keeps Getting Changed


    I complained about this a while ago and followed the suggestion of another ListMember. Well, like the Borg, Windows
    has adapted.

    I prefer Adobe for my pdf reader, but as many times as I change the default to Adobe, Windows keeps changing it
    back to Edge (lousy pdf reader).

    How can I put a stake into this thing and keep the deafault app I want.

    Hi, it seems only Adobe users face this problem repeatedly. I can only refer you to the various lengthy threads where this has been discussed many times. E.g.

    Thanks for the reply. Looking at those links tells me I am basically "OOL" .

    As usual, MS does what they want without regard for what the consumer wants.

    Guess I'll just have to keep putting the stake back into it each time.

    It seems to be an Adobe issue- doesn't seem to affect other pdf readers.... I've used Nitro pdf, Sumatra, and one other, and never had any reversion to Edge I can recall.
