Burnng Spinrite ISO with Ashampoo Burning Studio 16.

Burning Studio has the option to burn a "Data" disk. Nowhere is ISO mentioned.

I burnt Spinrite.exe to a c.d. The file on the c.d. is called spinrite.exe. Is it, or is it not, and ISO file?

If not, how can I get the program and Burning studio to produce an ISO file?

I don't have Ashampoo so I can't say how to do it. I have Nero but its confusing so I burn ISO's with the free (and popular) Imgburn.

As mentioned above; Imgburn is an excellent burning program........however, LighteningUK started allowing OpenCandy adware so he could generate a little profit for his work on the software....

If you download the program from the link I have you will get the Clean Version without the OpenCandy.......

I don't understand how another burner can "test" the ISO.

Ashampoo have recently released version 19 also.

I know, but I shouldn't have to buy it. Version 16 should be able to do it.

I decided to ask here rather than ask Ashampoo as I have not been very impressed with their reponses to other queries, but I think I will ask them anyway.

Ashampoo 16 look at left hand Panel when you open the programme select 'Disk Image' then select 'Burn Image'

That route doesn't do it. It asks for the "image" to be burnt.
