Microsoft Fresh Paint won't install, error 0x80240013

Guys, I need your help. Thank you in advance. So, yesterday I noticed Fresh Paint icon looked somewhat corrupted, that is in place of the regular Microsoft Fresh Paint won't install, error 0x80240013-freshicon.png, a yellow little square was displayed. I then proceeded to click on said corrupted icon, in order to run Fresh Paint, but it was to no avail. Tried multiple times, without success, as nothing opened. At this point decided to uninstall/remove Fresh Paint, and subsequently just reinstall it, to see if this procedure would do the trick, hopefully bringing the app back to full functionality. Uninstall was apparently successful. But when I ventured into Microsoft Store, numerous attempts at installing Fresh Paint resulted invariably in failure, as soon as it began downloading the package, with a 0x80240013 error code. As far as I know, this kind of error is linked primarily to the presence of duplicates in a list. Tried running Microsoft Troubleshooter, which supposedly resets the store and cleans/repairs cache and licenses, but that didn't work either. I always end up getting the following 0x80240013 error message

Any suggestions? All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone

Is there a way to completely remove/uninstall Fresh Paint other than the conventional procedure through Apps & Features, or Control Panel? Maybe the removal process has left some remnants behind, and these are preventing the new download and installation from completing successfully. Error 0x80240013 could be attributed to this behaviour, since it is usually found in conjunction with duplicates in a list (based on a quick Google Search). Thank you all for your help

Try following the steps in the link below to reinstall the app or all apps

Thank you for your reply. The problem with this is that I executed the
    Code:
    Get-Appxpackage –Allusers
command via PowerShell, but Fresh Paint wasn't anywhere to be found. So apparently Fresh Paint is not a preinstalled Windows 10 App (think they call them built-in apps), but I must have downloaded it subsequently. Given this, it seems the second part of the article would not help either, since it is aimed at restoring all apps that came already preinstalled in Windows 10

Wondering whether anyone knows of a method as to fully remove Fresh Paint specifically, via PowerShell. Maybe there's also a way in order to install it offline, or again using PowerShell, without passing through the Store, which seems to detect some sort of duplicate as per 0x80240013 error

So, I created a new account. Logged into the new account and went to Store, to try and see once more if Fresh Paint might be installed, al least from the newly-created position. No success. Always the same error. As soon as it starts downloading error 0x80240013 comes up, and download with consequent installation gets interrupted. All other apps work just fine. Tried also to run Sfc and DISM, no errors found

I’m not sure if this will help but I had some problems on a pc with some native ms apps after they updated. Weather and news. The live tile had an exclamation mark and the apps wouldn’t launch as a box came up saying something about corruption and telling me to repair/ reinstall via the store. Can’t remember exactly the message but it was something like that. Trouble was doing repair didn’t work as download stalled. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t work as the same problem remained after. And the same corruption as present across all user accounts. I even did a complete repair install of windows and that didn’t help.

the fix - for me at least. Download ccleaner and go into tools. Find the offending app in the list (hopefully it’ll show in here) and uninstall / remove it. Then go back into store and install it again. The apps functioned perfectly after this. Might be worth a try

Have you tried Revo Uninstaller that brings up a list of everything on your computer,
Scroll down see if fresh paint is listed, if it is tick it then click the uninstall mark, it will ask if you are sure you want it removed, click yes and you should find it will remove all traces of it from your computer.
I have used it several times and has worked every time for me.

Won't install here either, and I don't know why.
