    I get a kick out of the:

    "Something unexpected happened. Here's the error code: XXXX294363982045452160296388989bcfratyuu2555, you could search Google for a solution"

    Why don't YOU guys post a link to the actual solution!!!

    Have you tried Revo Uninstaller that brings up a list of everything on your computer,
    Scroll down see if fresh paint is listed, if it is tick it then click the uninstall mark, it will ask if you are sure you want it removed, click yes and you should find it will remove all traces of it from your computer.
    I have used it several times and has worked every time for me.
    Thank you for your kind suggestion. Tried Revo Uninstaller Pro, but unfortunately could not find Fresh Paint nor its remnants anywhere. I double checked, but apparently there's nothing left to be removed, at least according to Revo

    I’m not sure if this will help but I had some problems on a pc with some native ms apps after they updated. Weather and news. The live tile had an exclamation mark and the apps wouldn’t launch as a box came up saying something about corruption and telling me to repair/ reinstall via the store. Can’t remember exactly the message but it was something like that. Trouble was doing repair didn’t work as download stalled. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t work as the same problem remained after. And the same corruption as present across all user accounts. I even did a complete repair install of windows and that didn’t help.

    the fix - for me at least. Download ccleaner and go into tools. Find the offending app in the list (hopefully it’ll show in here) and uninstall / remove it. Then go back into store and install it again. The apps functioned perfectly after this. Might be worth a try
    Thank you for your precious help. I appreciate it. Sadly there's no Fresh Paint in CCleaner > Tools > Uninstall. At any rate, as you said, it was worth a try

    Won't install here either, and I don't know why.

    Yes, I think we have the same exact issue. On my machine Fresh Paint wasn't opening any more, so I tried to uninstall and reinstall it, but I've been getting error 0x80240013 ever since, and no installation of Fresh Paint has completed successfully, since it gets interrupted as soon as the download process starts. Apparently error 0x80240013 is related to the presence of duplicates in a list. Thank you for your contribution

    I would highly recommend reinstalling All apps as follows

    Click on Start menu
    Type Powershell
    Right click on Powershell and select to Run As Administator
    Copy and paste the following into Powrshell and hit Enter

    Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    Sorry for replying just now, but I wasn’t around much lately. I need to ask you a couple things, before I go on and try your solution, because I’m not very sure I’m doing it right. Following advise at the link you kindly provided, I run the
    HTML Code:
    Get-Appxpackage –Allusers
    command on Powershell, and a long list of apps came up, but no Fresh Paint there. So I concluded that apparently Fresh Paint is not among the preinstalled default apps. That said, do you think trying to reinstall the Windows Store package alone, as per
    HTML Code:
    Add-AppxPackage -register “C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\<PackageFullName>” –DisableDevelopmentMode
    command, would be of any use? Also, do you think that running
    HTML Code:
    Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
    that is the command for all apps which you proposed and looks promising, will reinstall Fresh Paint too, albeit not listed on my machine when executing "Get-Appxpackage –Allusers"?

    Maybe Fresh Paint is installed on your machine right now. Running
    HTML Code:
    Get-Appxpackage –Allusers
    would presumably give you the exact name of the package. I was wondering, if you shared the Fresh Paint PackageFullName here with me, and I inserted it in the
    HTML Code:
    Add-AppxPackage -register “C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\<PackageFullName>” –DisableDevelopmentMode
    command, would that do the trick and reinstall Fresh Paint on my machine? If you could be so generous to provide me with the PackageFullName, I’d greatly appreciate it. Just to make an attempt and see if it works. Honestly I'd prefer to just reinstall the one problematic Fresh Paint app, instead of going through reinstalling everything, as I fear to break something else which is now working properly instead. Thank you for your precious help

    I would recommend reinstalling all apps for best results which also reinstall the windows store. Then you can remove any apps you do not want using ccleaner.

    Thank you everyone for your help. I decided to wait some time to see if Microsoft would fix the issue. Today I tried once again, and finally Fresh Paint installed correctly from the Store. Don't know if it was the recent updates or something else, but it worked, no error messages, no problems. Thank you again, all have a blessed day
