I have the free version so i can't post on the Macrium forum.
Hopefully someone with the paid version will ask about this, and Macrium will explain why 1309 was pulled.

I store data on a different partition than the [C] OS partition.

If the HD/SSD fails that has the [C] partition, then the Macrium Boot option won't work.
That's one reason why a bootable Macrium Rescue disc (CD/USB stick) should always be created and tested.

If the HD/SSD with the BCD entry fails, Macrium can't run from the Boot Menu.
That's why a Rescue Boot media is also needed.
