As you can see by the Screenshot, if I click open in any executable, I can see plenty desktop icon shortcuts....

RichardC, I also have my pc checked it doesn't show either.

I went to Settings\Personalization\Themes\Desktop icon settings\
And check Recycle bin and click ok. No icons show up.
Same, if I right click the mouse button and select send shortcut to desktop....
