I am having these weird internet drops where it happens 1 - 2 times a day. I also have packet loss in game (I always see the icon of packet loss popping up in all the games I play)...

it's a new router all settings were pretty much default i just changed a few

I get about 650 MB download through ethernet cable

wireless 2.4G i get about 50mb do wnload
then 5g i get about 70 - 80mb download

nah im going to be gaming wired, ethernet. wireless devices are mainly going to be watching shows like the tablet / chrome cast

hi im planning to get a cm1000 modem and i have a ac2600 (r7450) router and i have my PCs cable plugging into my router https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FRGNYXQ
this is the exact cable i have....

widi adapter? my pc is directly connected to the router with no adapter

so it isn't worth it to get the "gaming" features on the xr300 compared to the ac2600?

i can get the ac2600 for $120 and the xr300 for $200

is it really not worth it?

i have a cm600 atm but i will upgrade to cm1000.

so what would be better in terms of wired connection AC2600 or XR300

and why would the XR300 be "worse" than the AC2600? i mean i dont care too...
