New Macrium - CBT patch
218029
CBT is only of value if you do Incremental Backups. Saves some time. About a minute. Only benefit.
NO connection whatsoever with the Image Guardian feature. That should be on.
Before you go to the trouble of re-install, try just flicking the switch off. Other tasks>Edit Defaults>Advanced>Advanced Incrementals. Uncheck the CBT box.

Thanks. So much for the Patch Process. Now I get to re-do all 6 again!
EDIT: Just finished doing a repair install over top of the patched, and it also fixed the GSOD for mounting images.
Yep! Big Bright Green Ugly Splat! Happened during the last teeny phase when the box pops up saying "Assigning Drive Letter X .....". Wham!!!!!!
Takes so little time, and you will know all is in sync.....the version of MR, the Thumb/DVD rescue, and the Boot Menu option.
Got all the way to the BIOS version of a BSOD! The screen where it says "Hey! I can't get there from here!!. Pick somewhere else to go, please.".
Yes, Martin, just for kicks. The rescue thumb for my Surface Pro 3 (old but reliable), got very ill when trying to boot on my Dell Alienware. Most likely because there is not one scrap of hardware...
Yep...it'll just overwrite the boot.wim file and include your new specs.
A small piece of the telemetry is spying on your I/O devices, and won't stop staring! ;)
I had exactly the same problem with the USBs on MR paid version. Could not safely eject. The latest 7.2.3825 fixed it, but this is on 1803 , not skippy.
It was the CBT. I know cause I disabled...
Same here, Martin. Not huge at all.....

Agree with Keith. I usually do, more habit than anything. This case, it really isn't necessary due to the actual changes made. They have no bearing on a Rescue Environment, just the run time MR. ...
New update fixes the USB eject issue I was having. Drove me nuts! ;)
Martin, It wasn't automatic, not here. It asked me if I wanted to. From the WinRE of 18267 > 18272. Is that what you mean? It will automatically ask? Minor confusion, sorry.
The RE environment seems to be using the latest from Fast Ring Insider build, unless I'm totally misreading this. The Rescue Media I built when I first upgraded to 7.2 is from 18267, so it says. ...
True, no benefit at all if not doing incrementals. FWIW - I tested it, and what would normally take around 1:30 to do a 1GB incremental w/verify ran in 23 seconds.
Backup, not restore. Worked fine.
good, so it may benefit others.
4 hours old, but latest from their Twitter Tweets!

New in Macrium Reflect 7.2 - KnowledgeBase v7.2 - Macrium Reflect Knowledgebase - KnowledgeBase v7.2 - Macrium Reflect Knowledgebase
Just the release notes from their Knowledge Base. Haven't...
Gives the joint a splash of colo(u)r and flavo(u)r.
It's timed to come out along with the out-of-band round 17 MS patches tomorrow along side of the re-re-re-re-released 1809.
I think Martin is correct. They are/have updated the installer, but the package is not on the server yet. I get the same thing. And if it just installed 7.1 again for Josey, I'll wait for the...
