    Long story short, I had to manually start the upgrade (to 1903) for both machines, and it took 6 hours for the 1809, and the 1803 is still working on...

    Thanks, good to know. Downside is when I try it, the laptop slows to slower than a snail. Took 15 minutes to launch a browser. Then it took another 2 minutes to close it. Didn't even try to surf.

    My machine is updating to 1903. I can see my desktop, and the update is being done in the Windows Update app, and taking quite some time.

    Can I do any work or surf online while this is happening?
