    I got this message after an update so hit the "check for updates" button but it spins for a few seconds and reverts back to the same screen. In windows security it's all green...

    Thanks to all for your help. I went through an external HDD I had and eureka, there was a backup I did with Macrium a few months back. Sorted that and hopefully problem solvered!!
