Hence my statement. Can you honestly tell me that you've never thought "They are more interested in adding more filler than fixing longstanding problems in basic functionality"?

I'm stuck in an endless "Getting things ready"-"Installing" loop for the past hour. I'm deferring further updates and I am pretty sure that I'm done with this Insider nonsense.
Nice one Kari  Agree 100% with the sentiments expressed by both!
This Build update went very well compared to the last 2 which took forever. I wound up rolling back to 17134.5 from both also.
Preparing to install 100%: Over an hour
Preparing to install 80%: Over an hour
Preparing to install 80% again: Over an hour
and this is on Microsoft hardware, Surface 4..... I'm done with this...
This is ridiculous releasing 17128, I'm not downloading an entire new build when the only difference is no watermark. I don't care if it only takes 5 minutes to do.
Not to mention that I probably would never have found out about it were it not for your post and tutorial. So thank you Kari.
Kari, I just tried out UUP Dump for the first time and it worked flawlessly. Really nice job on this tool by you and everyone involved. Thank you.
I'm really surprised by all of the reports of problems with Build 17063 I have seen here. This was one of the fastest download/installs so far on my Surface 4. The build itself has also been very...
The download and install went faster than usual but had one strange occurrence. After final reboot, Surface 4 hung on the lock screen after Windows Hello recognized me. A manual reboot seems to have...
Smooth, totally unattended upgrade from 16199 to 16226 after the 16215 fiasco. All looks good so far.
Hi Kari,
I just wanted to thank you for the effort you've put into finding a solution for build 16215. I'm just going to sit this one out after 4 failed attempts and over 4 wasted hours of my life.
Tried to install 16215 twice on my Surface 4. Install rebooted, made it to 32% installed and choked both times, then automatically rolled back to 16199.
EDIT: Make that 3 times now. Changed my...
This occurred in Build 16170 with the latest definitions. I just updated to build 16176 and re-scanned and there was no false positive this time.
Hi Kari,
Suddenly Windows Defender is detecting UUP to ISO as containing a trojan. I realize it's a false positive but I just wanted to let you know in case this has not been mentioned. If this has...
I just created an ISO from previously installed Build 15061 and UUP to ISO performed flawlessly. Great work Kari and all others involved.
Hi Kari, I just built an ISO after build 15058 was already installed and everything worked perfectly. Thanks for this great tool.
