I ran sfc and it repaired corrupted files and the update installed after that.
I am having the same problem with the march update.
try sfc /scannow in elevated powershell. It fixed my issues.
I tried it through the updater and manual download from microsoft. Both fail, attached is my windowsupdate.log file.

Is there a way to break the functionality of task view? That would totally solve the issue I am having with the swipe gesture. These seem like ways to hide it, but I want to disable it.
