Apparently I was lucky or whatever, but I did get it working. Look at my previous posts to see what worked for me. YMMV...
Breakthrough! :) I updated my bios firmware (not important, I assume), but changed to UEFI mode. Then installed a clean Windows 8.1 from UEFI-booted USB key drive (created with Rufus). Didn't install...
How about boot mode? I've only recently found out about UEFI mode, and know very little about it, so maybe a stupid idea, but really want to find a solution. I've only installed booted to Legacy bios...

I've run into the same problem as well. Like Gaored, I've got a Clevo computer (under a different name, but Clevo based), namely the W370et. Wonder if it's a coincidence...
