Didn't work - deleting windows explorer gave me a blank screen - only way out of that was to switch off the PC. On restart the windows icon still does not work.

The little windows square at bottom left on screen has stopped showing the startup apps - I can still get to them in a list with a right mouse click. How do I reset this to give me the pictorial...
