Hi all,

Me too. Perhaps Brink would possibly know of a fix?
Here's the video if logged in via my primary monitor instead:

As you can see, it's the full image displayed this time...
Sorry, I should've been clearer. This zoomed effect is caused by Windows 10 scaling feature. It's not something that's been enabled in VLC.
If I log-in to the OS using my secondary monitor (60"...

Hi all,
I currently use two displays; a 22" monitor (primary), the other a 60" TV (secondary). The secondary monitor has a scaling factor of 125% selected within 'Display Settings'. I'm...

Hi,
No, I moved from XP to 7 not too long after it was released, bypassing Vista completely (for obvious reasons...)
I definitely never has this problem with 7, but then again, I may not have...
When running Ableton Live for example, I use a program called "jBridge" which allows use of 32bit plugins within my 64bit version of Ableton.
Since moving from Windows 7 to 10, I must now run...
Photoshop was merely the example used for the purposes of recording the GIF... There are other programs which I need to run as Administrator for a host of other reasons (Ableton Live for example) and...
I was thinking this myself to be honest but I'm worried it may happen again as my recent install of Windows 10 was a clean install..
Hi,
I'm having persistent issues with Windows 10 and its user privilege settings. When running a program as administrator, I'm unable to drag and drop files as normal onto its GUI. A look at the...
Thanks for that! :)
I really need to correct this on a user level as opposed to a folder level right enough... W10 doesn't seem to recognise my account as an Administrator. Either that, or it's...
Nice.
Can you perhaps provide a brief summary of the steps taken in order to accomplish this?
Thanks!
Glad it's not just me then!
I'm sure I remember a similar nag on the C: drive with Windows 8 also... One that I managed to fix if memory serves... I only tested 8 very briefly when it was released...

Trying now.
I doubt very much that would correct the problem. Any restore point I roll back to will be the same as far as user permissions go. I need to discover how to unlock the restrictions on my user account.
It's also worth mentioning that I backed-up the registry before performing that edit, and now that I've went to restore it, I'm receiving the following error:

I wonder if this is related...
Thanks for the speedy reply.
I ran the reg key and selected "Take Ownership" on the C: drive right-click menu. No change, I'm still getting permission nags.
Hi,
Windows 10 doesn't seem to allow drag and dropping within the Start Menu... As a result, I can't place anything there which doesn't include a "Pin to Start" option upon right click.

Hi,
I've newly installed W10 Pro and am constantly being pestered with permission nags (see attached) while attempting to reorganise files within the Local Disk.
I've tried changing the User...
