OD personal working great on all builds I can actually get installed. Currently Skip Ahead 17604 does not run at all for me, same goes for builds 17093 and 17101.

There is really nothing special about an ISO compared to booting into recovery environment already installed on System. I don't understand what the issue is with self made ISOs. Because MS has...
Nada! Latest Skippy (17612) is almost a week old already. I bet they are testing it since it looks like new private builds has also stalled.
Yes, exactly.
Yep, this new build is boring. Nothing interesting to report.
Hahhah...yes the noise!
I do have WSrv2k8r2 as 64-bit too. Love it since it's quite fast without any extra bling. :)
Lol!
I do have Win95, 98, 98SE and ME also.
Then I have everything NT since OS/2 was released. :-)
heheh...thanks
Did you never use MS DOS 8.0? It was part of WinME
Here's my modest collection:
Amstrad MS-DOS 3.2 (1987)(Amstrad).zip
Caldera DR-DOS Lite v7.02 (1998)(Caldera)(Disk 1 of 3).zip
Caldera DR-DOS Lite v7.02 (1998)(Caldera)(Disk 2 of 3).zip...
Same here, original Win 3.11 and MS-DOS 5.0 and MS-DOS 6.22. Especially DOS is very useful for many tasks. :)
Hahah! Yeah, Win3.11 was a beast. I could still live with that one, instead of "bling bling ninja taco hat cat Windows"
Exactly! Dual, Triple Quad panes etc... not tabs!
Hahha!
Tabs in Explorer is something I hope can be totally disabled once added as default to the system.
If it's just tabs, then it's a useless feature for me, but if one can also bookmark...
Hahhah WinME.
Boy was it fast compared to Win98SE and 2000. BUT on all my computers and my friends computers it crashed constantly. Could not get a completely clean install to run stable on any...
Hahha, I upgraded 7 to 8 and reverted straight back to 7. It was a horrible OS. When 8.1 came out I upgraded to that and stuck with it. Never had any issues with that one.
:roflmao2:
I think you are right!
LOL!
How can one accidentally install Pro instead of Home without noticing it for weeks after install? (that is about how long it would take to install a ton of apps and collect enough personal...
No, I stated it exactly how I meant. You can not revert a Pro edition to Home...no matter how hard you try. And I am not referring to user files nor user applications (which has nothing to do with...
Yes, but that proves exactly what I was saying. You can not revert edition without a new install, which your repair media does and then links the user data and apps to. :)
Exactly! Well, not turned off, but removed completely. And same goes for Enterprise.
EDIT: The correct way to say this is: On Pro some features are added which does not exist on Home and on...
Some users don't even know the difference between Windows 7/8/10 and Home/Pro/Enterprise.
I often hear people say "I run Windows Professional" when they really mean Windows 7 Home. :D
Hahha...ok if its that hard then just using the name Latest Windows is enough. Let MS worry about how up to date it is and let the users focus on their FB surfing experiences. ;)
I would be happy with just:
{NT_KERNEL_VERSION}.{NT_KERNEL_REVISION}.{BUILD}.{BUILD_REVISION}
Which translates to (for example):
10.0.16299.248
Very clear and nothing much that can be...
It could be but I doubt it is directly related to this issue in particular. One never knows though. MS is always so secretive when it comes to what they changed/fixed/broken. They only tell us all...
I once again tried to upgrade my Skip Ahead build 17083 to 17604 by first disabling the hiberfile completely, but no luck there. I still get SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED during first reboot...
