Get rid of armoury as a first step it's known to cause crashes.
Forgot to add that I changed it to 21h2 since I just installed the update earlier but thanks for the heads up :).
Tried this. Said the update isn't installed which is complete bs since I can clearly see it in the update history. Have found somewhat of a fix for now in gpedit.
Before editing the...
Sadly no. It just takes me to the microsoft website to download that app.
Not clickable.
So I'm curious how I can get rid of this message in windows update. I don't want to upgrade to windows 11 I just want this thing gone. On windows 10 pro 21h1.
Update dissapeared from windows update. None of my machines are getting it.
Yea... Seems like you are right. As soon as I open a folder that contains a file like you said it kills windows defender.
From what I can tell it seems that starting the windows defender service from services then quickly updating it also fixes the problem. Windows defender doesn't seem to stop working anymore.
Windows defender stops working when I install this update on both my machines. Removing the update fixes the issue. This is what I get in event viewer over and over when this update is installed "The...
I also started getting these since update to 1809. Components are a few months old and everything was perfectly fine until windows 10 1809 update though I'm not rulling out the gpu drivers.
Well looking at this I think this might not have been intended straight for amd yet. Clearly states Intel.
Update June 12, 2018:Microsoft is announcing Windows support for Speculative Store Bypass...
Already enabled it. It does absolutly nothing. So most likely amd cpu's also need a microcode/bios update. Tried checking through powershell and it shows that I'm still vulnerable.
I wonder why does the speculative store bypass fix comes disabled by default. Anyone enabled it yet? Just curious if I should enable it since it seems my amd ryzen cpu is also affected by the...
Well I was lucky enough to not have event id 1 showing up but as you can see from my first post I have event id 2 and 360. I feel the same about disabling the logging of certain events completely ...
You can disable the logging of event id 2 aswell in event viewer. Though it would be really nice to know what is actually causing it.
Hey,
I'm also getting event id 2 & event id 360. So far I'm guessing you guys haven't figured anything out?
Doesnt this do the same thing that I said for event id 37 but through the registry?:)
Looks like it just turns off logging to the event viewer just like if you would turn off the log in event...
Don't think your gonna find much of a fix for those errors.Sadly too much is still new and starting with windows 8 and the introduction of those annoying apps these kinda errors are hard to actually...
You can hide those errors if you want.As long as all your apps are running fine and updating on the windows store is working fine I would either ignore those events or disable the AppModel-Runtime...
I don't think that service does anything at all anyway since the service fails to start in the first place and gives that error so I don't think there is any point in leaving it on:)
So I just have this error in the event viewer ever since I upgraded to win 10 creators update.
Event 7000 Service Control Manager
The CldFlt service failed to start due to the following error:...
Don't worry your not the only one that did this.I was in the process of downloading when I saw Cliff's comment and decided to check the folder where it's downloading to see what version I'm gonna get...
You did an in-place upgrade/reinstall sortoff.
From the looks of it that upgrade assistant that's on softpedia to download only shows that it's downloading build 15063 but while it's downloading if you go in the folder that it makes in your c:...
