Updated the OP to reflect the folowing:
Memtest:
ddr4 2134 stick 1 slot 1 immediately showed 5 errors.
ddr 4 2400 stick 1 slot: 1- 8 passes, no errors
NB: as of the OP i was using 2134 stick one...
