Yes, windows search does work. If I search, for example, "Visual Studio" it brings up the folders and files but NOT the application. This happens for everything....

JBGoode, if you go to Settings>Personalization>Then click Start on the left, make sure you have "Show More Tiles" enabled. Let me know if this helps.
