While it's a thought I've wondered about for some years, where do updating apps download before actually doing the update, it was earlier today when I started doing some backups and the 3rd party app...

I'm on Win10 Pro 64 bit and fully updated.


When a 3rd party application does an update, where does it store the update it downloads before installing?
