The problem for me was my antivirus (Avast). Once I uninstalled it, I was ok.

Anybody having problems with their Start Button not working after installation, check your antivirus. I was using Avast (free). I uninstalled it and everything worked. I'm now using a different one.

I've fixed my problem! I uninstalled Avast (free) and replaced it with something else. I am now working fine!
