2. Install Them (don't worry if it fails)
3. Now go to %temp%
4. find a folder JUST created (random letters name) [ you will find HP setup files inside]

I have been recently having issue with my Deskjet 3545 printer drivers, i am on a windows 10 machine.
Here is how my driver looks in "Devices and Printers":

It worked! The new thing i did was installing the driver manually by "Browse for driver Locally", selecting the Folder where Setup.exe was present. installed them , still no luck
It connects to internet , checks for any Display Driver updates , then downloads them from Official Website (around 100-300 MB) then installs them. Basically it updates my drivers from Internet.
But i don't get anything! ,and thats why i am here :)
Didn't under what you meant by "mfr's website" but i have updated all my Nvidia drivers from nvidia control panel, also My Intel Integrated HD graphics card is also updated
