2 days without freezing and now it crashed. Event Viewer says something about DistributedCom.
Okay, I'll do that.
But how does it affect the EventID/DistributedCOM -thing?
(EDIT: Crashing is still a problem. I'm now at update 14393.321)
Well, just crashed again..
This time Event Viewer gave me these errors:
Kernel-PnP: "The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ROOT\WPD\0000."
Kernel-Power "The system was reset...
Just crashed 2 times, under one minute. A new record :D
Now it gives me different errors in Event Viewer;
Critical: Kernel-Power
Error: Eventlog 2 times, DistributedCOM 2 times
Warning:...
Glad to hear that this is something that is easily fixable.
I just edited registry and now let's hope for the best :D
*EDIT* The problem seemed to be ShellExperienceHost -related, according to...
Okay, 10 freezes later: I reset everything in BIOS to optimized defaults.
Can the problem be caused by the mobo's single pin connections? I know I have something wrong there, because I can't start...
Ok, I didn't get a proper screenshot, but here's what I found:
Critical: Kernel-Power, exactly when it freezed
Error: AppReadiness, multiple times; just seconds before freeze
Warning: e1iexpress...
I usually have Steam, Skype, Mozilla, sometimes Spotify, and a random game running (not for a while because of the freezing).
I'll increase the RAM voltage to about 1.54 - 1.55 volts.
But how...
Never had overheating problems, at least to my knowledge (HWMonitor and MSI Afterburner should be reliable, right?). I'm going to update the BIOS, and all drivers should be properly installed,...
Ok, C6 states have been disabled for a day, but the crashing is just getting worse. And I haven't installed Acronis (never had Acronis in this PC). I'll update BIOS and report any problems later.
It just froze for the 2nd time after disabling C6 state. Disabling overclocks didn't help.
*EDIT* Accidentally left the overclocks enabled. Now it is completely stock, except for disabled C6...
Well, it just froze yet again. Could my overclocks cause this? The CPU is at 4.6GHz at 1.52 volts, and GPU is at 1373/7980MHz.
Ok, I didn't think it would be my mobo which (probably) caused it.
I'll try that, and reply again to tell if it helps or not :)
Hi!
I've built my first proper PC about two months ago.
It's got an AMD FX-6300, MSI GTX 960 OC 4GB, Asus 970 Pro Gaming Aura motherboard, and Kingston 2x8GB 1866MHz ram sticks. For storage I use...
