No CHK did not offer to run on restart.
CrystalDiskInfo did look at both discs. Both show OK.

My C disc indicated Health status of with a Good 77% thought maybe the 77% was drive space left?...

Just installed the CrystalDiscInfo.
Not sure how to decode all the info, but health status states good.

Downloaded and installed all those updates, but like several other the KB5034122 "Security update for Windows" keeps giving an error code 0X80070643.

Downloaded and installed ok here. No Smoke!
SFC and DISM ran clean.
