That's strange...I definitely removed a key from the registry that matched that, after we found that it had been causing some of my crashes. I just installed the newer one. I'll report back if/when I...
Here's a BSOD that just happened when I put the computer to sleep (driver verifier should have been running at this time). I didn't realize that it happened, so I didn't see the bugcheck code.
Looks like I'm still getting BSODs, this time while watching a video online. Here's the set of dumps, but it's another Memory management code.
Ah, that's interesting. I think I had them in slots 0 and 1 at first, then switched to slots 2 and 3 to see if it would solve the BSOD problem. I'll set them in slots 1 and 3 and report back.
Another one today, playing a game, attached. This one had the error "page fault in a non-paged area".
I removed the registry key, which didn't seem to cause any instabilities. A couple days later, though, I got a BSOD trying to shut my system down (attached).
Unrelated, but I just found that I...
Strange, when I follow that link, it only shows me the one from August 2014. I also did some searching online, and it seems like support for Smart Connect Technology has been discontinued for Windows...
Looks like I spoke too soon; I just got a BSOD again. I assume this will be another one of those uninformative ones, since I didn't have driver verifier running, but here's the dump. Should I switch...
Hi Ztruker,
Sorry for the lag in communications; I cleanly reinstalled Windows 10 this past Sunday, and I've played a couple games since then. So far, no BSODs, though Overwatch itself did crash...
Another BSOD, this time playing Overwatch, but not running driver verifier. It was a different error this time, but I don't remember exactly what it was.
Ah, that is old! Thanks for pointing that out; when I checked the driver through Windows, it told me I had the latest driver, which is strange. I updated my audio driver from my motherboard's website...
The latest BSOD, running driver verifier, is attached. This time, it was something like "Kernel Security Check".
I was just playing some Overwatch to test my computer and I had another BSOD, though I feel like it took longer than usual this time to crash. It was another "MEMORY MANAGEMENT" error, crash dump...
Ah, okay, I uninstalled it. Should I try the driver verifier again, or just try playing games and look for blue screens?
Sorry for the delayed response; I was out of town for the weekend.
I just tried the driver verifier and it gave me a BSOD during boot up. I've recreated the zip file with the new crash dump...
Thanks for taking a look! I just ran Memtest86+ over night last night, and I woke up to 8 passes with 0 errors this morning. Should I run a longer test, or do you think it may be something else, like...
BSODs playing Overwatch, multiple codes - Windows 10 Forums
Thanks!
Hi all,
I've recently started playing Overwatch, and it's been resulting in BSODs and crashes every so often, making the game pretty difficult to play (it's also happened once during Far Cry 3...
