Not sure if it makes a difference but my monitor is a 30 inch (2560x1400). A lot of the older programs don't scale well on mine, although it got a lot better after the latest Window 10 upgrades.

Have you ever tried RocketDock before with the Stack docklet. It actually does what I want perfectly except for the fact that it's not high DPI. It annoys me that everything (icons, texts, labels)...
