Hello,
My computer has lately been crashing and after checking the memory.dmp it seems to be correlated to the graphics card. To provide some context, the screen would freeze followed a black...
Hey, I'm not sure if this is the right section for my issue
Anyhow, while using my keyboard and mouse for work I've had a really irritating issue where they would constantly spaz out at random. ...
Hey so the issue just occurred again, everything just randomly froze. Can't ctrl, alt delete, or anything. After a few minutes of the screen being frozen the computer just restarted
I can't tell yet as my issue occurs randomly however I will let you know if it happens again (hopefully not)
Thanks regardless

Whether or not the issue pertains to the gpu I don't know as one of the symptoms is the screen going black with no...
That resolved the issue, thanks again
That rescue program saved me, thank you very much
I applied it to the disk that I wanted to clone too in the firsr place and I can now boot through it and everything. Thanks again for saving me lol
If I enable UEFI only in the bios then the words "Windows Boot Manager" will appear next to the drive name but it won't actually initiate a boot attempt. Not even a black screen, it would just sit in...

That's how it looks, it also says Windows Boot Manager next to the drive but nothing happens when I try to boot through it. I just end up staying in the bios screen

Alright so I've converted the original boot drive from mbr to gpt and as a result I can't boot from it anymore
Any solution?
Thanks for responding
So is that the reason for why the cloned copy boots to windows recovery? I first need to change the source disk from mbr to gpt then reclone it to the other ssd?
Hey, so I tried cloning my OS from an MBR ssd to a GPT ssd. After the cloning was done, I get booted to the windows recovery screen when trying to boot via the cloned drive. The cloning was performed...

Any chance you can confirm that everything is fine before I wipe the HDD? The A drive is the HDD now and I was able to boot from the SSD...
So basically, I should just move whatever takes up most of the space such as videos and games and not touch anything else?
For example, if I were to simply move the entire Program Files x86 folder to the HDD then do you know if any problems would be caused? Like I said, I'm simply worried due to the experience I had...

So these directories for example would have to stay on the SSD after cloning them? I just have a lot of programs that take up nearly 500GB...
When you say move all the data from the C: Drive which would then be the SSD, what do you mean by that? Just literally move all the folders besides the windows section back to the formatted HDD?

I understand that as that's what I've done initially but it would only leave about 10GB left of space on the SSD. Is there any chance you can elaborate more on the whole "Just wipe out the HD,...
Hey, so thank you so much for the help as it finally fixed the issue.
I just have one more question as you seem to be very knowledgeable. This whole problem stemmed from me trying to simply move...
Would it change anything despite me trying to boot up the hdd via my bios? That's how I came across the "boot mgr" missing, I just went into the bios and switched my hdd back as the boot method to no...
I simply used the MiniTool Partition program and chose the "Migrate OS to SSD/HD" option so it cloned my HDD to an empty SSD
