Sorry but the 8945.1 driver you mention doesn't work for me. Even though it appears installed and Device Manager says "Device is functioning properly" it clearly isnt...

For me the smaller (latest) package of 8960.1 worked, and the huge 161mb CAB file didin't.

I previously was on the 8881.1, but I saw in the Realtek thread some said it sounded...
It wont install for me, I tried it through Windows Update and standalone msi.
Initial install goes fine, however after pressing restart it applies 30% of the update and restarts to finish...
