Ah I see  . Alas Hasleo doesn't like Linux and I tend to be Mint 99% of the time nowadays after decades of Windows.
I still dual boot just for the very rare W10 need and have W10 in a VM...

Interesting, I'd have plumped for slot 4 (given the choice) from the off. I bet it behaves now.
How odd. Although I very rarely use W10 I fired it up to check. I applied every update there was to get those out of the equation and checked. Everything is behaving (screenshot). Maybe it is a...
Why on earth would the driver not install in my daily Windows OS?
Because it's Microsoft Windows. :roflmao: Anyway now you can enjoy your sound card which is pretty good for the price.
Very strange and you're sure you haven't an antivirus or similar impeding installation.
Why doesn't 'Sound' show your Audigy connected to your speakers like mine.
I'd be tempted to do a full system...
Although I'm a 97% Linux user I installed the software in my rarely used but up to date Windows. It should install OK, I didn't use custom. It's interesting to note during software installation...

It looks like you're speakers aren't connected to the soundcard. Are they still connected to the Dell Monitor? If so unplug them and plug them in the soundcard.
Is Windows seeing the card. I'd pull it out and reinsert it a couple of times. Make sure it's seating.
Seems odd, I have one and Windows installed a driver automatically.
Anyway here's the driver and software page. Creative Worldwide Support - Sound Blaster Audigy Fx
For something different try Ventoy. Ventoy Create a bootable flash drive using Ventoy, copy a W10.iso to it and boot off it. Worth a try.
Amazon.com: HOXIBSL USB Printer Cable Splitter 1 in 2 Out,Printer Splitter for Two Computers, Dual USB Male to Female Compatible Printer, Scanner or Other USB Devices : Electronics
My guess.
Unless one PC was turned off you might find the 2 PCs conflicting with each other over ownership of the printer. Then there's the matter of 5 volts . Not worth it. Use a switch or switched...
Just search 'USB Printer Sharing Switch' on Amazon or similar. I use one K/B+mouse to two PCs.
Even Ext4 ?
Try Paragon Backup & Recovery Community Edition Free Data Recovery software | Paragon Backup & Recovery Community Edition. May not have all the bells and whistles of MR but it's very fast and gets...
I stated earlier in this thread that I use a 'Asus P8Z77-V Pro' with W10 as opposed to a plain vanilla 'Asus P8Z77-V' There is no reason why the 'Asus P8Z77-V' won't work with W10, the...
Check the Bios version, it may not need doing, it's quite old now.

Update before W10 if necessary. Chipset should be done after installing W10

No problem . In this instance I'm going to reassign Insert=Vol Down, Home=Mute Page Up=Vol Up.
First click the key you want to reassign.
