First of all, thanks for your reply... But like I said, the fan runs, I have been monitoring the heat and everything is fine. It's just the BIOS not recognizing the fan. But this makes me think the...
This is all stock from the Asus Desktop. I never even disconnected it before it stopped being monitored in the BIOS.
On an Asus Desktop M32AD. At boot, the F1, CPU fan error screen. I threw a new power supply and a gtx 950 in there. No problem. But I reconnected the hdd and DVD drive backwards in the 3/6GBS ports...
Thanks dude. I guess I'm an idiot. I can go to the Asus site or simply read the manual that came with the monitor. Derp. Thanks.
I have an Asus 27'' IPS LED HD Monitor (MX279H). Maybe not great, but it's really nice for my broke a**. It sits in a cold room (in AZ, not that cold, but it gets cold out here, 30's even)
and on...
It was the freaking UxStyle theme patcher. Have an Asus desktop with only intel 4600, display adapter keeps crashing. It's the theme patcher, SMH... I can't stand white backgrounds, uggg....

OK, my start up programs will become riddled with these. Sometimes after a re-install, I don't have the issue for days. I'm thinking my theme patcher, 7tsp icon pack, or even the fact that I...

You are using the GTX970m on windows ten?
No, it doesn't say any problems are found. But that's because in the Display tab, it just says it's using the Microsoft generic driver and not recognizing the geforce. (Asus disabled the intel...
Dude... That driver isn't going to do anything. If anyone else wants to trouble shoot anyhing besides me trying different drivers, hit me up. I have all the drivers you can use. This happens with...
Well that's not a beta driver and I know how to download updated drivers. But thanks for taking the time on this old thread of mine.
Nah bro... Last beta driver is from April. I have the latest and all the windows ten drivers. It always happens. Can't believe I'm the only one. Maybe my theme patcher?
God d(*& it, this issue is not solved. I constantly get a driver error on win 10 no matter what I do. This SUCKS. About to go back to 8.1. It was just fine
Um, yeah.
No way. I don't associate any microsoft account with my windows OS, ever. Maybe in the future, it will be forced. But it doesn't work like that now.
I haven't read any of the comments. I just wanted to say my product key is now different than the one I used to install 8. I wrote both down, so I don't know if it will work for an install....
OK. so the issue didn't stop. CCleaner automatically ticks NVIDIA Install files (the location is C:\NVIDIA)... Although it appears the folder and it's files are still there, it was deleting something...
I am confused... I'm talking to people and they're telling me there is no "motherboard" sensor. The CPU, GPU, HDD's, sure... But why even have a motherboard sensor? The things that would make the...
Nah, the 8.1 version isn't making it work. I could have sworn it was fine with 8.1 and not 10. So, I guess the only way to see if this is software related is to install 8.1. I can always just go back...
Hmmm... thanks. I mean, I did. But I wonder if the windows ten version is what's doing it. The ATK package for 8.1 works fine with ten.
Do I really need to re-install 8.1 to see if it's a software issue? Because before I went to 10, it worked fine. But now in speccy and OpenHardwareMonitor, I am unable to get a reading. Obviously, if...
Yeah about preventing a reinstalation. I always keep an image of just windows, drivers, and updates for when the image was made, and revert to that before I consider a fresh install.
I personally, stand by system images. Backups still leave unwanted crap behind that was there before the restore was initiated.
So the issue stopped, either magically on it's own or through a windows update. I don't know... Mark this as resolved?
