Has anyone tested if Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Free protects you from this? I don't know how to test this without risking my Microsoft account information.

Do I need to do what dmex shared or what Cliff S linked or both to solve this issue?

I'm not very smart about these things, but will disabling this have any negative effects on my computer?
