I don't think this is a Windows issue. It's before Windows even loads.
Since you've checked other USB ports, I'd hazard a guess it's time for a new keyboard. Good luck.

Lately I've been getting these mystery 10010 errors, typical wording, "the server {whatever} failed to respond..." only when I look in the registry or DCOM Config I can't find anything with that...
How has that been working for you, having disabled the service? Does anything seem to be affected aside from the error being gone?
