My speaker fill option and enhancements are gone ever since Windows 10...
Since Win 10, my "speaker fill" is missing. I use headphones, so it's essential.
Also, Quadraphonic & 5.1 aren't working properly neither, and I have the latest Realtek updates.
Just "General/Levels/Dolby/Advanced"... Since the upgrade I lost that tab.
Do you have "speaker fill" and access to options in Dolby and/or DTS?
I'm trying to fix this so my audio doesn't sound like it's coming from a box.
Bump
But... How do I use my speaker fill/Dolby?
I'm forever listening to a muffled box now.
I use a headset, like a gaming headset. I'm pretty sure I used 5.1 sound back in Win 7. But, I had "speaker fill" and "enhancements" in Realtek. That's what I used to make my audio not sound like...
Alright... But, how do I use it?
I can't use 5.1 Surround sound anymore since the Win 10 upgrade, and everything is up to date. The Dolby option just has "On/Off", nothing to enable 5.1 sound.
Come on...
What is this? I see it replaced my "enhancements" tab and got rid of my "speaker fill", so now my sound is worse than ever. All it has in the Dolby tab is "On/Off"... that's it.
Help?
I called Microsoft Tech Support yesterday and even they were baffled. They took control of my PC, and had no clue.
They penciled me in for a call from one of their "super tech people" for tomorrow...
I got rid of it... But would appreciate assistance still :/
I've done everything under the sun to fix this. I too, am missing those tabs plus speaker fill now. The only option I can have is the Stereo option, which sounds like the audio is coming from a box....
Bump...
I updated every driver, and including Realtek to its "v7566" state. In the Sound properties, there is still no "enhancements" or any option for "sound fill".
Inside the Realtek HD Audio Manager,...
CyberpowerPC - Windows 10.
I finally got it to v7565, but I still can't find "Speaker Fill", as it's absolutely missing, and my "Enhancements/Sound Effects" tabs are STILL missing. The only viable...
The one from the catalog is the one I cannot download for the life of me.
I've been searching around, and I can't even unlock "Dolby" or whatever it is too.
I hear Realtek has "v7565"... and I can't download it. Even manually I can't. My "enhancements/sound effects" tab is now missing as well, and my drivers are all updated. My audio sounds like it's...
Apparently there's a super-latest update to Realtek, "v7565" thats from the Microsoft Catalog. I download the files, but I don't know how to manually update Realtek itself.
Where I find some...
I can't install "realtek v7565"...
Now my audio sounds like it's coming from a box since my "Sound Effects" tab is missing. Windows won't update to this.
