Updated today! Took a while which is normal; running a pre-vista laptop. Ran SFC and DISM had no errors. So far all is good, only time will tell. ;)

I'm not able to upgrade to 11, my pre Vista Laptop is not supported. See no reason to buy another laptop as long as this one handles my current needs.

Updated to day, normal time for pre-vista laptop. SFC and DISM had no errors. Not able to move to Windows 11 since my pre-vista laptop does not meet 11's criteria.
Due to Hurricane IDA causing loss of electricity and internet, I finally got to update today. Took the normal amount of time to process. Ran SFC and DISM had no errors. So far all is good!

Updated yesterday, ran SFC and DISM no errors. Seems to have slowed my pre Vista laptop down.
Updated through WU yesterday, installed on it's own. So far it seems OK, except it slowed my system down a little. Only time will tell!

Updated today! Ran SFC, found and fixed some errors. Ran SFC again and DISM no errors. Now it's wait and see if any issues pop up. ;)

I checked my startupinfo folder and it was empty. Could they be somewhere else since in the Task Manager column Startup files are listed and the Startup Impact is not measured?
IronZorg89 thanks for the tip. Your advise did the trick for me. It did force me to move from version 2004 to version 20H2 though.:rolleyes:
How do you do a repair install?
I'm also on 661 and got "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact...
I got the same problem. There is another thread here regarding the favorites issue. I went back to Google Chrome since this happened.
I switched back to Chrome due to the Favorite issue. Favorites was slow to open and did not expand like it did prior to the update.
