That card is one of the lower end budget models, the RX6700 & higher models are 4.0 x16.

All good here, over the top previous amd chipset (not mobo vers.) driver.

It's normal, the OS reserves/uses it (don't remember the details).

Check in 'Control panel > Programs > Uninstall....' to make sure AMD software is gone.
Also might want to check 'Local disk' for any AMD leftover folders/files.

Seems the solution may be upgrade to newer windows build first, then see if driver installs.
If MS no longer support your build, then app/driver devs. would most likely follow suit ?

May be the problem is with using an EOL build.
AMD possibly remove newer driver compatibility with old builds ?

Could be a longshot, but from the nv forum post i see mention of AA not working with fso enabled, have you tried disabling fso on affected games.

Since Vers.87.0.664.47, when opening new sites from Favorites back/forward arrows (left/right click) greyed out.

So because a laptop with just a cpu with graphics says it supports 4k, does not mean you'll get ultra quality in regards to a laptop with an additional graphics chip.

Yes the files are encrypted, and so you cannot access them.

Probably be a good idea to throw out the old hdmi cable also.

The laptop drivers from AMD are generic (as in work on a number of models in a range), the only way i am aware of for getting the exact naming for a particular OEM model is to use their driver.
