Hello,
My computer's clock has been randomly changing itself for about two months now, and it seems to be happening a lot more often than it was before. At first, I thought it would just...
I've been having a problem lately where I would be using a moderately resource-intensive application and it would crash completely, and the system clock in the lower right-hand corner would change....
It's just a laptop. I'm not sure if pulling out the battery was the thing that triggered the restore.
It's completely fine now; no issues yet.
I can't get into my computer at all to run the file or upload it if I did happen to get in.
I'm completely locked out. Did I post this in the wrong section?
This might not be the place to post this issue, but I'm not sure where else to put it.
I'm having a problem with my computer that displays the "It looks like Windows didn't load correctly"...
This issue may have solved itself after I messed with the BIOS. I set it to its factory default settings and saw a feature enabld that seemed to be related to overclocking, so I disabled it and...
I tried using both sticks seperately and reverting the BIOS back to its default settings, but MemTest just keeps crashing. What should I do?
MemTest86+ Causing Reboot - YouTube That should be it.
Yes, I'm sure. The computer will be making its way through a pass and then reboots itself.
Nope, I tried reinstalling it following the instructions, but this time the computer restarted without passing once.
I'll come back in the morning.
Ah, thank you. Also, I've been monitoring the memtest and noticed that it reverted back to pass 0 when it finished with its second pass. It reset the timer, too. Is this normal?
I'm not that competent with computer parts, are sticks only available to remove on desktops? Because I have a laptop.
I've done everything you've asked but now I'm getting a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error when playing the same games. It does what it would normally do when it crashes, except it actually goes to the...
93117 Here it is.
This crash has occured when playing Half-Life 2, Fistful of Frags, and Team Fortress 2, which all use the Source physics engine, which might be causing the issue (although I've not seen any reports...
I'm back at my computer for a while. Is there any way that I can prevent this/stop this from happening altogether?
Thanks a lot for replying. I've been away from my laptop for a while and will be able to provide more information about my issues soon.
This thread is closed due to the issue stated being "resolved" (although not through conventional methods).
I'm posting a second thread about my issues since I provided the incorrect information...
These problems seem to have passed, so I'll close this thread and begin a new one, since a couple other issues have appeared.
I figured out how to run MemTest on my computer -- I had to enable Legacy Booting on my laptop's BIOS. I'm running the tests now.
I fogured oit how to r
I tried again doing everything that the guide (using method 1, my computer doesn't have the same interface as method 2) and you said, but the error "System doesn't have any USB boot option. Please...
I don't think I'm able to run MemTest86+ as it was intended to be -- I'm not sure if my BIOS allows me to boot into a USB (Which MemTest is installed in). So, for the time being, let's assume I have...
