Still would like to delete the keys added to the registry as they...
I added the registry edits but it doesn't prevent random hangs from Windows while shutting down (Wheel spinning indefinitely). Is there a way to revert back these registry changes?
Thanks for your answer. I'm stuck at ... the 1st step :chuckle: There's no "Command Prompt (Admin)" see screenshot. I usually hit Win and type cmd, right click run as admin but I'm not sure this is...

My issue is not resolved. I just know I need 2 Windows Boot Managers in my UEFI BIOS for Win7 and Win10 to boot.
Yesterday, after running the commands via the Windows Repair Tools, I saw a 2nd WBM...

I didn't know if I had to execute the commands right on x: (probably the USB...
Just to be sure, do I really have to type Bootrec /FixMbr even though there's no MBR (drive is GPT)?
I think the issue is with my BIOS/UEFI , when my Win7 was booting, it would only boot with the Windows Boot Manager. If I'd select my drive in Boot override, it would ask me to select a proper boot...
Unfortunately, resetting the BIOS/UEFI hasn't changed anything. I can't boot on my SSD (Win7) but I can boot on my HD (Win10). Do you (or anyone else) have some other pointers?
Sorry I don't know why I typed that, I meant the opposite: "I can boot with Windows 10 because this was the last Windows I installed". It's Win7 (SSD) that can't boot.
So by just resetting the...
Hi FreeBooter, here is my setup:

So I don't know if we can call...
Issue: after installing Windows 10 UEFI on Hard drive, I can't boot anymore on Windows 7 UEFI (SSD).
My main system, W7 UEFI, is on a SSD. I would like to have a backup system on a different drive...
Thanks for clarifying this Frozen state.
@Samuria there's absolutely no reason for the RAID port. On my P8P67, I have 6 SATA ports. 2 of the INTEL ports are faulty "by design" if I could say (see:...
I'm running into problems with one of my HD (Toshiba N300 4TB). It hangs and freezes for 5 minutes a lot per hour so I'm getting hundreds of the following warning entries in the Event Viewer:...
I don't know about the failing drive (remember it's only 1 month old, and I never had a problem in 1 month before the WindowsToGo/startup repair thing) because CrystalDiskInfo show any indication...
Hey, I corrupted my computer that was running perfectly for 7 years. The symptoms are:
1/ A 2nd Windows Boot Manager appeared out of the blue in the BIOS and is interfering with the 1st WBM.
