I think you might be on to something. Under system display settings Change size of text, apps, and other items
the bar is all the way up, but it is greyed out so I can't bring the size down.

It is weird even in a game I play where I always used 1920 x 1080 res, the game is even limiting me to 1280 x 720. Never had a problem with this before the monitor was unplugged.
This works for making desktop icons smaller and text on websites smaller but I really wish I could just figure out how to get my monitor back to its native resolution instead of picking one of the 3...
This might have something to do with the problem. Apparently my monitor was only supported up to windows 8, there's no drivers for windows 10. Could the 64 bit windows 8 driver work on windows 10? ...
