I don't think that's the case Mike. My gut feeling tells me that the upgrade broke the graphics.

Thanks for the quick reply Ben. I've already read that article and I cannot apply the steps (No. 10 onward) outlined there. I cannot bring up the context menu with mouse right click.

My friend has a two-year-old Lenovo G40-70 laptop and it was upgraded to Windows version 1803 recently. Upon restart from the upgrade it only presents a blank desktop and a movable mouse cursor....
