I successfully upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Home a week or so ago but I used an ISO that I had successfully upgraded 2 other PCs with - turns out It was build 10240. When I upgraded it...

Well I downlaoded the WIndows 10 1511 ISO.
First problem I encountered is I have no 'Mount' option when I right click on the ISO, so I burned it to a DVD and ran setup.exe from there.

re the programs, I have uninstalled Smart Defrag (which I did not use anyway) and AI Suite 3 using the uninstall feature in Programs and Features....

I just checked one of my other PCs and Windows update automatically upgraded it to 1511 just a few days ago, so I assume Windows update is a bit slow upgrading the PC that has the bugcheck issue.
