Was trying to install Docker, and it kept giving me a service not started error. Looking into it, I think with NSSM I accidentally removed the "Server" service from my Windows 10 Pro server.

Tried to install the program on two other laptops running W10, all had the same issue. Odd, as I had installed that program a couple years ago on a spare laptop and it works fine.

Thanks! Attached is the log.

Thanks, maybe I'll pick up a 2242 M.2 drive. I think the x250 actually has 2 slots for 2 M.2's if desired. Would it be okay to use 1 of them as the main OS drive and keep the 16gb one as a cache...
Looks like the above link is doing the trick as the installation has actually commenced. Ed, tanks for the rapidcache link. However, in the x250 bios, I don't recall seeing any options for this:

The one with the SSD is fine, disk usage sits...
Okay...ran both and it mentioned that corrupt files were all fixed...will see if that helps!
Will give this a go...tx
So tried this, seemed to work. Deleted my old user acct and used the new one for a bit...and it is back to the same issue.
BTW, msconfig.exe works so I'm going to try and boot in safe mode. It hanged when I shut down and said some sort of taskmanager was running...hmmm.
