I think I have found the problem. The processor doesn't support NX (no execute bit). Anyone know how to fix or bypass this?

Slartybart the machine firmware is bios. The problematic machine originally came with windows xp. since it is about 10:20 at the time of writing this, I will put in the system spec tomorrow.
