It just dawned on me that I always click "Yes" because, after all, I want to run the program, so there's no point in having the warning. If I change my mind I can just close the program. Duh!

I've been googling how to sign out and can't find an answer that makes sense.

Well, well well . . turns out the culprit isn't Windows or the NUC, it's an older USB hub with a power switch. If I turn its power off before shutting down, either with WinKey-X-U-U or Alt-F4 or...

Good idea, I've been using AutoHotKey for years. But this script
#^!S:: Shutdown, 9
causes a restart.
Do you know what modifications to that script will cause shutdown?
Since the recent update, when I try to shut down with WinKey-X-U-U the system restarts instead of shutting down.
I can only shut down by with the power switch.
Is there a workaround for this?

I used to use both WinDirStat and TreeSizeFree several years ago, I've just downloaded the latest of each and I'll give 'em a try :thumbsup:

Sound Recorder's default file type is .m4a. How can I make the default save as .mp3?
Thanks dalchina!
Yep, Voice Recorder . . but when you open "Open file location" it takes you to where the files are being saved but I can't figure out how to change to a different save file.
How can you change the folder where .m4a files created with Recorder are saved?
Seemed to resolve itself with a cold boot.
I've been using the very useful Voice Recorder for several weeks, and earlier today it worked fine, but I just tried to make a recording and got this message: "We couldn't save this recording. It...

Just discovered there's a better way: click the little white line next to the Group > delete the name of the Group > <Enter> and the Group will be gone.
